Pet Bereavement

The Pet Bereavement Center was founded by Dr. Segal in 2002 at the Institute for Behavior Therapy.   This is the first and only center of kind in New York specializing in the cognitive behavioral treatment of issues related to pet attachment and loss.  For participation in Westchester’s pet bereavement program please contact Dr. Segal at Healthy Behaviors of Westchester at (914) 514-9150 or contact Dr. Barry Lubetkin at the Institute for Behavior Therapy’s Pet Bereavement Center at (212) 692-9288.
